Sell a collection of binoculars and telescopes
We consider binocular collections, groups of instruments and larger mixed lots of optical equipment. Show the optics together with cases, tripods, eyepieces and other accessories. Our main interest is in collections rather than individual instruments.
What details help you assess binoculars and telescopes?
Photograph the manufacturer, model and all visible optical markings. Details of known working condition, storage and included accessories help us assess the collection.
Binoculars
Show the markings and the whole instrument. Mention any known double images, haze, focusing problems or damage to the body.
Telescopes and accessories
Photograph the optics, mount, tripod, eyepieces and control units together. Show model plates and the connections present.
Condition and documentation
Mention known repairs, damage and missing parts, and include any documentation. Don’t dismantle optical equipment just to make an enquiry.
How do I offer a mixed collection of optical equipment?
Photograph binoculars, telescopes and other photography equipment in clear groups. An existing list is welcome. We’ll assess whether buying the whole lot is viable, then agree on shipping or possible collection in advance.
How are the price, shipping and payment agreed?
The initial assessment is free and carries no obligation. Any offer covers the agreed equipment in its described condition. Transport, costs and payment are agreed before handover. Please don’t send anything without contacting us first.
We welcome enquiries from Germany, across the EU and from Switzerland. There’s no need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before your first enquiry.
