Analog Lounge · Selling your equipment
A camera collection deserves to be considered as a whole.
Whether your collection fills a few cases or an entire room, show us everything you’d like to sell. We’ll look at the cameras, lenses and accessories together and discuss buying the agreed collection as a whole.

Getting started
How it works
Collections often bring together different brands, generations and conditions. That’s why we start by looking at the whole collection. Please don’t discard seemingly minor pieces: viewfinders, magazines, adapters and small accessories can be important parts of a camera system.
Show us the collection
Photograph shelves, display cabinets or groups of equipment laid out clearly. For large collections, take separate photos of each box or area. An exact item count is helpful, but you don’t need one to get in touch.
Keep matching equipment together
Where possible, keep bodies, lenses and accessories in their existing groups. Labels on bags and cases can be useful, as can old inventories or handwritten notes.
Agree what’s included
We’ll make clear exactly which items our offer covers. For larger collections, we’ll also discuss how to organise packing, shipping or possible collection.

How should you prepare a large camera collection?
For an offer on the whole collection, a clear overview is more useful than valuing every item yourself. Keep matching systems together and include accessories and duplicate items in your photos.
Decide what you want to sell
Mark any pieces you want to keep. If you’d like us to buy the whole collection, include the less sought-after items in your photos too.
Photograph the equipment in groups
Arrange cameras and lenses so their markings are readable. Photograph each group separately and include any lists you already have.
Plan the handover
Tell us where the collection is, roughly how many boxes or cases it fills, and whether there’s a deadline for clearing the space. Collection is only confirmed once we’ve agreed the arrangements.

Condition and preparation
You don’t have to sell every item separately
Many sellers would rather avoid months of managing listings, answering questions and posting individual parcels. Selling the collection as a whole can reduce that work. Our offer reflects all the equipment and its condition. An old catalogue valuation does not determine what a dealer can offer today.
Good to know
Questions about selling a collection
Do I need a complete inventory?
No. An existing list is welcome, but you don’t need to make a new one before contacting us. Clear photos of the collection are usually the best starting point.
Does every item have to be valuable?
No. Mixed collections are welcome. We need to see what’s included before we can decide whether buying the whole collection is viable.
Can I include untested equipment?
Yes. Mark it as untested and tell us about any known damage. We’ll consider those items as part of the collection.
Your next step
Show us your equipment.
Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
