From Nikon F to Z: show us your complete kit.

Systems and equipment

What equipment can you sell?

Many Nikon kits have grown over decades, bringing manual-focus lenses, autofocus equipment and newer digital cameras together in the same case. You don’t need to test every combination for compatibility. The exact markings on each component are a better starting point.

01

Nikon film cameras

Well-known systems include the Nikon F, F2, F3, F4, F5 and F6, as well as FM, FE and Nikkormat cameras. Please also show interchangeable viewfinders, motor drives and focusing screens.

02

Nikkor lenses

Photograph the full markings on manual-focus Nikkors, AF, AF-D, AF-S and Z lenses. Include converters, macro accessories and lens hoods too.

03

Digital equipment

For Nikon DSLRs and Z cameras, include batteries, chargers and adapters, and mention known faults. Add a shutter count if you have a reliable figure; there’s no need to estimate one.

What we need to assess your equipment

What details matter for Nikon equipment?

We assess the Nikon bodies and Nikkor lenses you actually have as one lot. Especially with a kit assembled over many years, we need full model designations rather than a general description such as ‘Nikon zoom’.

01

Bodies and usage

Give model names, known faults and the last known use. Only include digital shutter counts if you have reliable figures.

02

Lens generation

Photograph each lens’s front markings and mount. Mention known autofocus or stabilisation faults.

03

System accessories

Show viewfinders, motor drives, adapters, chargers and batteries. Don’t test damaged batteries or unfamiliar combinations just for the enquiry.

You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.

Condition and preparation

Not every Nikon combination is compatible

Please don’t force an unfamiliar lens onto a camera. Nikon equipment spans different mounts and lens generations. Photos of the fronts and mounts are enough for an inventory. Mention known autofocus, aperture, shutter or display faults and show any obvious damage.

How it works

From your first enquiry to handover

01 · SHOW US

Send photos

Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.

02 · AGREE

Discuss the offer

We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.

03 · HAND OVER

Agree the arrangements

We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.

Good to know

Questions about selling Nikon equipment

Can I sell Nikon film and digital equipment together?

Yes. We prefer complete kits and larger collections. Show us all the equipment in one enquiry.

Do I need to find the shutter count?

Include it if you already have a reliable figure. For an initial enquiry, the model, photos and your description of condition are enough.

Are older manual-focus Nikkors of interest?

They may be included in an offer, depending on the version and condition. Please photograph the markings and mount so we can identify the variant.

How do you work out an offer?

We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.

How is the equipment handed over?

Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.

Your next step

Show us your equipment.

Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
