Melancholy and hope: an old Leica M5

Selling cameras, lenses or a collection?

Old shutters have a sound that can summon another time. The cameras that made it may have recorded children laughing, quiet mountains or crowded streets. They are pieces of metal and glass, but also witnesses to the way someone once saw the world.

We look for those forgotten cameras so they can be appreciated and used again. At Analog Lounge GmbH we are interested in equipment waiting in attics and on cellar shelves: Nikon, Canon, Minolta, Leica and many other names, each carrying its own part of photographic history.

Leica M5

A Leica M5, a sturdy Nikon F, a Canon AE-1 that introduced someone to photography, or a dependable Minolta SRT101 can all have another chapter. So can a manual Pentax K1000 or a Hasselblad system with its extraordinary photographic heritage: each reminds us that film photography still has something to offer.

If you have older camera equipment you are ready to pass on, you are welcome to contact us. At Analog Lounge GmbH, buying equipment goes hand in hand with an appreciation of film photography. We share the interest in the images, the mechanisms and the experiences that make these objects more than items on a shelf.

A new home for vintage cameras

Passing equipment on can connect its past with a different future. Another owner may put a familiar camera back to work, discovering their own subjects and learning its particular character.

We look forward to seeing the equipment you would like to sell. Its history matters, and finding its next use is part of the continuing story of photography.
