Analog Lounge · Camera collections and equipment
Sell Aaton cine equipment with its system accessories.
We consider Aaton collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from Germany, across the EU and Switzerland. An Aaton from a production company, collection or inheritance should be documented with its magazines, lenses and power supplies. Start by sending photos of the complete kit.

Systems and equipment
What equipment can you sell?
Accessories can account for a substantial part of a professional cine system. A body photo alone doesn’t show what’s included or how it’s configured. Photograph model plates and keep matching components together.
Camera and version
For Aaton cameras such as the LTR or XTR, the exact model markings are helpful. Modification and service records can assist identification; please mark assumptions about a version as uncertain.
Magazines and lenses
Show magazines, lenses and mounts. Don’t assume parts fit together based on appearance alone. Photograph unfamiliar components separately.
Power and accessories
Include batteries, chargers, cables, viewfinder accessories, handgrips and cases. Missing components also matter to the assessment.
What we need to assess your equipment
What details matter for Aaton cine equipment?
Document the complete Aaton kit. Record the camera, magazines, lenses and power supplies with their names and any service records.
Camera version
Photograph the model name, known modifications and supporting documents.
Magazines and power
Show magazines individually with their markings, along with batteries, chargers and cables.
Testing history
Mention the last known use, existing test material and documented servicing. A running motor does not replace a full functional test.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
Don’t use an unfamiliar power supply
If the equipment hasn’t been used for a long time, there’s no need to run it for our enquiry. Describe the known condition and documented servicing. For modifications such as a format conversion, supporting documents help; the body name alone may not fully describe the current configuration.
How it works
From your first enquiry to handover
Send photos
Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.
Discuss the offer
We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.
Good to know
Questions about selling Aaton equipment
Does the camera need to run for an offer?
Not for an initial assessment. Describe it as untested if there is no reliable current test.
Are service records helpful?
Yes. They may document work and modifications. Also mention any current problems you know about.
Can I offer several cine camera systems together?
Yes. Photograph cameras and accessories in clear groups. We consider the whole collection you’re offering.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
Your next step
Show us your equipment.
Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
