Analog Lounge · Camera collections and equipment
Sell your technical camera as a complete system.
We consider ALPA and Cambo collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from Germany, across the EU and Switzerland. If your system includes lenses, backs and adapters, show us the whole combination. Our assessment goes beyond the camera body.

Systems and equipment
What equipment can you sell?
Much of a technical camera kit lies in its matching lens mounts, back adapters and accessories. Photograph the assembled camera as well as loose components. Markings on individual plates help us identify the actual configuration.
ALPA
ALPA cameras, including models in the 12 series, may come with different lenses and backs. Show the body, lens-front markings and each adapter in separate photos.
Cambo
We consider Cambo technical systems such as Wide and WRS, along with complete camera kits. Please give the exact body designation; the manufacturer’s name alone is not enough to identify it.
Lenses and backs
Include lenses, digital backs, focusing screens, viewfinders and mounting plates. Keep the components together without undoing unfamiliar connections just for the photos.
What we need to assess your equipment
What details matter for ALPA and Cambo equipment?
The exact combination is important with technical cameras. Record the camera, lenses, backs and adapters separately so we can see what’s included.
Back and connections
Photograph the names on the back, adapter and camera. Include any cables and shutter-release connections.
Lenses and plates
Show each lens with its markings and fitted plate. Photograph parts you can’t identify separately.
Movements and condition
Mention known stiffness, play or damage. You don’t need to dismantle anything for the enquiry.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
Show exactly what’s included
A photo of the body alone doesn’t show which back and lens you have. A picture of the complete system, followed by readable markings, is helpful. For a digital back, include supplied cables, power adapters and batteries. Describe known faults or missing connection parts.
How it works
From your first enquiry to handover
Send photos
Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.
Discuss the offer
We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.
Good to know
Questions about selling ALPA and Cambo equipment
Can I just show the body?
Yes, for the first contact. For a well-founded offer on the whole kit, we’ll also need an overview of the lenses, backs and adapters.
Do I need to identify the adapters?
No. Readable markings and photos of both sides help us identify them. Please don’t dismantle unfamiliar assemblies.
Are film backs of interest too?
Yes. Show film backs and focusing screens as well as digital backs. The system you have determines the assessment.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
Your next step
Show us your equipment.
Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
