What equipment can you sell?
Professional cine cameras are often expanded and modified over many years. The equipment actually present and documented changes therefore matter. Keep matching parts in their cases or arrange them together for the photos.
Arriflex cameras
Cameras in families such as the Arriflex 16S, 16BL and 16SR may come with different accessories. Photograph the exact model designation and visible modification markings.
Lenses and magazines
Show lenses with their mounts, magazines and additional parts. The ARRI name alone doesn’t identify which camera every component belongs to.
Motors and power
Motors, batteries, chargers, cables and control units are part of the system. Mention missing connections or known faults without attempting to run it using unfamiliar accessories.

What details matter for Arriflex equipment?
An Arriflex offer depends on the exact version and all the accessories included. For a 16SR kit, record model suffixes, magazines, lenses and documented modifications individually.
Version and modifications
Photograph model markings. Claims of a format conversion should be supported by any documents available.
Magazines and lenses
Show every magazine and lens with its markings. Explicitly mention mount changes or missing parts.
Servicing and power supplies
Include workshop records, last known use, batteries, chargers and cables. Make clear if the equipment hasn’t been tested.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
A running motor is not a complete functional test
Tell us if the camera has been operated recently. That alone does not establish accurate film transport, image steadiness or running speed. A factual account of what you know is enough for your enquiry. Service records and earlier test footage can also help.

We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.

Questions about selling Arriflex equipment
Can I offer ARRI lenses without a camera body?
Show them with your other cine equipment. For cine lenses, photos of the mounts are also important.
Are incomplete Arriflex kits of interest?
An enquiry may be worthwhile, depending on the model, condition and accessories. List missing parts where known.
Do I need to run the camera or film-test it?
No. We don’t expect you to carry out tests for the initial assessment. You’re welcome to send results you already have.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
