Analog Lounge · Camera collections and equipment
Keep early digital cameras together with their accessories.
We consider Kodak DCS collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from Germany, across the EU and Switzerland. Kodak DCS cameras and their accessories should be assessed together. Include power supplies, cables and any documentation, even if you don’t know the current working condition.

Systems and equipment
What equipment can you sell?
With early professional digital equipment, the external model name may not tell the whole story. The digital unit, camera body, charger and storage media can be separate components. Clear photos and readable model plates help us identify the kit.
DCS cameras
Show the complete Kodak Professional DCS camera from the front, back and underside. Photograph all model plates and suffixes rather than giving only a general body name.
Power supplies and storage media
Include batteries, chargers, power adapters, memory cards and connecting cables. An old power supply should not be assumed suitable simply because its plug fits.
Documents and accessories
Manuals, software discs, original packaging and transport cases can document the equipment. Keep them with the camera until it has been assessed.
What we need to assess your equipment
What details matter for Kodak DCS equipment?
For Kodak DCS, show power supplies and accessories together with the camera. A tidy appearance doesn’t tell us whether the camera has actually been used recently.
Power supply
Show batteries, power adapters, chargers and their labels. Don’t use leaking or damaged batteries for testing.
Known working condition
State whether starting up, taking a picture or saving an image has actually been tested. Leave untested functions clearly described as such.
Storage media and connections
List storage media, cables and documents. Back up private photographs before the agreed handover.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
Clearly identify untested electronics
Please don’t try powering the camera with an unfamiliar adapter. Tell us whether it has recently started up and which faults are already known. Existing images or a photo of an error message may help explain its behaviour. A working display does not establish that all functions work.
How it works
From your first enquiry to handover
Send photos
Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.
Discuss the offer
We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.
Good to know
Questions about selling Kodak DCS equipment
Is a DCS without a charger automatically worthless?
There’s no general answer. Photograph the camera and what’s included. Missing power supplies and an unknown working condition will be taken into account.
Should I install software first?
That’s not needed for the initial enquiry. Photos of the camera and its components are a better starting point.
Can I send an error message?
Yes. An existing photo of the message and a short description of the camera’s behaviour are helpful. Please don’t attempt risky power-up tests.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
Your next step
Show us your equipment.
Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
