Systems and equipment
What equipment can you sell?
Konica made several SLR systems as well as other types of camera. To identify a collection, we need the exact camera names and lens markings, particularly where several generations and third-party lenses are stored together.
Autoreflex cameras
Models such as the Autoreflex T3, TC and T4 can be offered with their lenses. Show the full model name and mention any notable features or modifications.
Other film SLRs
A Konica collection may also include FS-1, FC-1 or FT-1 systems. Tell us what you know about the electronic functions and show any accessible battery compartments.
Hexanon lenses and accessories
Photograph the complete front markings and mount of each Hexanon lens. Include caps, hoods, bags, filters and any other matching accessories.
What we need to assess your equipment
What details do we need about Konica equipment?
We need exact camera names and complete Hexanon lens markings. Photos of the mounts help us identify the lenses in your kit.
Camera
Give the camera model and mention any known shutter, film advance or light meter faults.
Hexanon lenses
Photograph the front and rear of each lens separately. Describe any known haze or mechanical problems.
Accessories
Show adapters, filters, lens hoods and cases. Keep existing combinations together for the photos.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
Konica and Minolta are distinct systems
Older Konica and Minolta SLRs do not share a single lens-mount standard simply because the companies later operated under a joint name. You do not need to resolve compatibility questions yourself. Leave existing combinations together and photograph loose lenses from both sides. Please mention known damage or attempted repairs.
How it works
From your first enquiry to handover
Send photos
Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.
Discuss the offer
We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.
Good to know
Konica: frequently asked questions
Will every Konica lens also fit a Minolta?
No. Compatibility depends on the particular systems and mounts; the brand names alone are not enough.
Do electronic faults rule out a purchase?
Not necessarily. Describe the known fault and show us the whole collection. We consider the model, accessories and condition together.
Can I offer Hexanon lenses without a camera body?
Include them in your lens or photographic equipment collection. Photos of the mounts help us identify the exact versions.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
Your next step
Show us your equipment.
Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
