Analog Lounge · Camera collections and equipment
Sell your Linhof with its lenses and accessories.
We consider Linhof collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from Germany, across the EU and Switzerland. Whether you have a Technika, Kardan, Technorama or another Linhof system, we need to see the camera together with its lenses, backs and accessories. Start with a photo of the whole kit.

Systems and equipment
What equipment can you sell?
Large-format equipment is often expanded and modified over many years. One case may therefore contain parts for several configurations. Photograph the camera assembled if that’s how you find it, and also show loose lens boards, film holders and viewfinders.
Technika and Super Technika
For folding and field cameras, show the exterior and, if it opens without force, the camera opened out. The exact model name and viewfinder accessories are helpful.
Kardan and other systems
For view cameras, include the standards, bellows, rail or monorail and back in the overview. Tell us which components are missing or damaged.
Lenses and film holders
Photograph lens and shutter markings along with their boards. Sheet-film holders, roll-film backs, focusing cloths and transport cases may also be part of the kit.
What we need to assess your equipment
What details matter for Linhof equipment?
Record the camera format, model markings and equipment together. A complete view of backs, boards and film holders helps us identify what you have.
Camera and bellows
Show the whole camera and visible damage. Only describe the condition of movements if you know it.
Lenses and boards
Photograph lens and shutter markings and the boards included.
Accessories
Record film holders, viewfinders, focusing aids and backs separately. Keep existing groupings and labels intact.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
Don’t put unnecessary strain on the bellows
On a camera stored for a long time, don’t force stiff movements or brittle bellows. Photos of the equipment as it is are enough for our first assessment. Mention known light leaks, missing locks or lens-shutter problems.
How it works
From your first enquiry to handover
Send photos
Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.
Discuss the offer
We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.
Good to know
Questions about selling Linhof equipment
Do I need to assemble the camera completely for photos?
No. If you’re unfamiliar with it, photograph it as it is and show the loose parts. There’s no need to force an assembly.
Is a Linhof without a lens of interest?
Show us incomplete systems too. Whether a purchase is viable depends on the version, condition and other equipment included.
Should I unscrew the lenses from their boards?
No. Fitted lenses can stay on their boards for the enquiry. Readable markings matter more.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
Your next step
Show us your equipment.
Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
