Sell Minolta cameras, Rokkor lenses and collections

Analog Lounge · Camera collections and equipment

Sell Minolta SLR cameras and Rokkor lenses.

We consider Minolta collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from Germany, across the EU and Switzerland. An SR-T, XD, XE or X-series kit often includes several bodies, Rokkor lenses and plenty of accessories. Show us everything you have so we can assess it for an individual offer.

Systems and equipment

What equipment can you sell?

We distinguish between Minolta’s manual-focus SLR systems and later autofocus equipment. Please photograph the exact markings on cameras and lenses. These help identify the generations without you having to test every combination.

01

SR-T, XD and XE

The SR-T 101, SR-T 303, XD7 and XE-1 are examples of classic Minolta SLRs. Alongside the bodies, show any cases, viewfinder accessories and instruction manuals.

02

X series and Rokkor

You can offer X-300, X-500 and X-700 cameras with MC and MD Rokkor lenses. Maximum aperture, focal length and full markings are more useful than a general description such as ‘Minolta lens’.

03

Autofocus and accessories

Collections may also include Minolta 7000 and 9000 cameras, and film-era Dynax and Maxxum equipment. Show autofocus lenses, motor-drive accessories and flash units clearly.

What we need to assess your equipment

What details matter for a Minolta collection?

We assess the cameras, Rokkor lenses and other components in your Minolta collection. Photograph older and later systems separately if they’re already stored in different cases.

01

Cameras

Give full model names and mention known problems with film transport, shutters or displays.

02

Rokkor and other lenses

Photograph the front markings and mount. The presence of an adapter does not establish that a combination is compatible.

03

What the kit includes

Show motor drives, viewfinder accessories, flash units, cases and documents. Include a close-up of any residue in battery compartments.

You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.

Condition and preparation

Distinguishing manual-focus and autofocus lenses

MC and MD lenses should not be treated as interchangeable with Minolta’s later autofocus system. If in doubt, photograph the mount. Mention known shutter-release problems, unusual aperture blades or battery-compartment damage. You don’t need to repair an untested camera or test it with film for the enquiry. Include macro, zoom and unusual Rokkor variants in your photos too.

How it works

From your first enquiry to handover

01 · SHOW US

Send photos

Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.

02 · AGREE

Discuss the offer

We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.

03 · HAND OVER

Agree the arrangements

We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.

Good to know

Questions about selling Minolta equipment

Are MC/MD and Minolta AF the same system?

No. Show the markings and mounts so we can identify which equipment the lenses belong to.

Can I include ordinary X-300 or SR-T bodies?

Yes, as part of a collection or complete kit. The equipment doesn’t have to consist entirely of rare, top-of-the-range models.

Should I include basic zoom lenses?

Show us everything. Whether individual zooms are of interest depends on their version, condition and the overall kit.

How do you work out an offer?

We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.

How is the equipment handed over?

Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.

Your next step

Show us your equipment.

Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
