We consider Sinar collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from Germany, across the EU and Switzerland. A Sinar kit is more than two standards: show us the camera, bellows, lenses, backs and accessories together. You can also offer larger studio or workshop lots.

What equipment can you sell?
Modular view cameras can be assembled in different combinations. Clear overview photos are the best way to show the exact configuration. Photograph markings and loose components without unnecessarily dismantling the system.
Camera and movements
Show the front and rear standards, rail or monorail and the existing setup. Mention known damage, loose locks or stiff movements.
Bellows and backs
Include standard and wide-angle bellows, focusing screens, film backs and digital adapters. Tell us about missing parts and visible damage.
Lenses and studio accessories
Lenses on boards, shutters, film holders, compendium hoods and transport equipment may all form part of an offer. Photograph their markings as well as the complete kit.

What details matter for Sinar equipment?
What we can assess depends on knowing everything included in the Sinar kit. Show loose connecting parts and backs that aren’t fitted to the camera too.
Main components
Photograph the standards, rail, supports and bellows together. Mention known damage or missing parts.
Lenses and backs
Show lenses with their markings and boards, and each back separately.
Studio accessories
Include film holders, focusing aids, cables and transport equipment. An existing inventory can supplement the photos.
You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.
Condition and preparation
Don’t discard unfamiliar loose parts
A modest-looking adapter or board may be important to the system’s future use. Place those parts beside the camera for the photos. If you don’t know where they belong, simply say so. You don’t need to test movements or bellows light-tightness for the initial assessment.

Discuss the offer
We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.
Agree the arrangements
We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.

Questions about selling Sinar equipment
Can I offer a studio collection with several view cameras?
Yes. Photograph each setup first, then the loose accessories. Mark items you don’t want to sell.
Do I need to know the exact Sinar model?
No. Photos showing the camera’s form, model plates and markings are enough to start with.
Are components of interest without a complete camera?
That depends on their type, condition and quantity. Show the parts together with the rest of your photography equipment.
How do you work out an offer?
We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.
How is the equipment handed over?
Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.
