Analog Lounge · Camera collections and equipment

Sell your Canon lenses with their exact model details.

Analog Lounge GmbH considers Canon lens collections from private collections, estates and complete inventories for purchase across Germany, the EU and Switzerland. Whether you have FD primes, EF zooms or a mixed collection, show us each lens’s front markings, mount and accessories. We assess the equipment together as a complete kit.

Systems and equipment

What equipment can you sell?

Canon has developed several lens systems. Similar focal lengths or barrel shapes do not mean that two lenses use the same mount. You do not need technical data sheets for an enquiry: clearly visible model markings are the best starting point.

01

FD and New FD

Classic Canon FD and New FD lenses can be offered with a film camera kit. Show any designations such as S.S.C., Aspherical or L, and include specialist lenses.

02

EF and other EOS lenses

For EF lenses, photograph the full name, including any USM or IS designation. Please explicitly mention known autofocus, aperture or stabilisation problems.

03

RF and mixed collections

RF lenses can also be part of a larger Canon kit. Keep cameras, adapters, hoods, tripod collars and cases with the corresponding lenses.

What we need to assess your equipment

What details do we need about a Canon lens collection?

Include the full system and model names. Photograph FD, EF and any other versions individually, showing their mounts.

01

System and model

Show all markings and suffixes clearly; photograph any adapters separately.

02

Function and condition

Mention known focusing, aperture or stabilisation faults where those features are fitted.

03

What’s included

Include hoods, tripod collars, teleconverters, caps and cases. Leave untested functions described as untested.

You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.

Condition and preparation

FD, EF and RF are different systems

FD, EF and RF are distinct Canon lens systems. A shared brand name does not make them directly interchangeable, and focal length alone is not enough for a specific offer. Photograph the exact version and describe known optical or mechanical damage. You do not need to dismantle or professionally clean the lenses for an initial enquiry.

How it works

From your first enquiry to handover

01 · SHOW US

Send photos

Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.

02 · AGREE

Discuss the offer

We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.

03 · HAND OVER

Agree the arrangements

We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.

Good to know

Canon lenses: frequently asked questions

Can I include FD and EF lenses in the same enquiry?

Yes. Show us the whole collection. We take the different systems into account when assessing it.

Does an L designation automatically make a lens valuable?

A blanket valuation would be unreliable. Our offer depends on the exact version, condition, completeness and the collection as a whole.

Can I include zooms and third-party lenses for Canon?

Offer them with your kit. For third-party lenses, we also need the actual manufacturer and mount version.

How do you work out an offer?

We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.

How is the equipment handed over?

Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.

Your next step

Show us your equipment.

Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
