Systems and equipment

What equipment can you sell?

Rolleiflex cameras that look similar can be different versions. Lens markings, serial numbers and controls help us identify them. Include more than the item you think is most valuable: matching accessories can be useful parts of the kit.

01

Rolleiflex TLR

For twin-lens cameras, show both lens inscriptions, the camera front and the serial number. Include viewfinder aids, attachments, cases and hoods.

02

SL66 and later systems

For SL66, SLX and 6000-series kits, include lenses, magazines, viewfinders and grips. With electronic systems, photograph the batteries and matching chargers too.

03

Other Rollei cameras

You can offer Rollei 35, SL35 and mixed Rollei collections together. Include full model names wherever they are legible on the equipment.

What we need to assess your equipment

What details do we need about Rollei and Rolleiflex equipment?

Rollei and Rolleiflex cover several camera systems. We need the actual model markings and, for twin-lens cameras, clear inscriptions on both lenses.

01

Camera version

Photograph the front, controls, model markings and serial numbers.

02

Known working condition

Only describe film advance, metering, shutter and focusing functions as tested if they have actually been checked.

03

Accessories and records

Show attachments, filters, viewfinder accessories, cases and service records alongside the camera.

You don’t need to carry out repairs or full functional tests before getting in touch. Describe known faults and mark untested items clearly. Answers about assessments, shipping and payment.

Condition and preparation

A serial number identifies a model, not its condition

Our Rolleiflex serial number tool can help identify classic TLR models. A model match does not establish whether the shutter and film advance work or reveal the condition of the glass. Please describe known faults and previous servicing separately.

How it works

From your first enquiry to handover

01 · SHOW US

Send photos

Send photos showing the equipment. Mention known faults and, for larger collections, where it is located.

02 · AGREE

Discuss the offer

We’ll clarify any missing details and assess the equipment as a whole. You then decide whether the offer works for you.

03 · HAND OVER

Agree the arrangements

We agree on shipping or an in-person handover and payment in advance. For large collections, we can discuss possible collection.

Good to know

Rolleiflex: frequently asked questions

Do I need to distinguish between 2.8 and 3.5 versions myself?

No. A sharp photo of the lens markings is more useful than a guessed model identification.

Are old Rollei batteries and chargers important?

Yes. Show them even if their current condition is unknown. Do not use an uncertain power supply for testing.

Can I offer several different Rollei systems together?

Yes. A combined overview helps us assess the collection. We will ask for closer views of particular components if needed.

How do you work out an offer?

We consider the exact versions, described condition, completeness and all the equipment included. We therefore can’t promise a price based on a brand name alone.

How is the equipment handed over?

Once we agree on a sale, we arrange shipping or an in-person handover. For larger quantities, we can discuss collection if needed. Please contact us before sending any equipment.

Your next step

Show us your equipment.

Send us photos of your collection, inherited equipment or complete camera kit. A few clear pictures and a note about the condition are enough to get started.
