The precise combination of components, known condition and supporting records all matter. For modular systems, make clear which backs, viewfinders, boards and accessories are actually included.
Mention known damage, missing components and documented servicing. For digital components, include the model, power supply and cables. You do not need to try fitting components together to test compatibility.
How should you photograph lenses and backs?
Show each component’s full markings and mount. Include shutters and lens boards. There is no need to carry out technical tests on untested equipment.
