Camera brands, lenses and cine equipment we buy

Sell by brand and camera system

Which cameras, lenses and cine equipment can you sell?

We consider camera collections, inherited equipment and complete kits from a range of manufacturers. Choose a brand or type of equipment for guidance on condition, photos and accessories.

Being listed here doesn’t guarantee that we can buy every item. The model, condition and collection as a whole determine whether we can make an offer.

Cameras and systems

Photograph bodies, lenses and accessories together. If you have a mixed collection, you don’t need to identify which system every part belongs to beforehand.

Canon, Nikon and Minolta: Examples include Canon A-1, AE-1 and EOS, Nikon F, FM/FE, D and Z ranges, and Minolta SR-T and X-700 alongside Rokkor and AF lens ranges.

Pentax, Olympus and Leica: From Pentax Spotmatic, K1000 and LX through Olympus OM, Pen, XA and mju to Leica screw-mount, M, R, Q and SL systems. Contax & Yashica include C/Y, Contax G, N and 645, and Yashica FX and Electro 35.

Medium format: Hasselblad, Mamiya, Rolleiflex, Bronica, Pentax 67/645 and Fuji. East German cameras & M42: examples include Praktica, Praktisix and Pentacon Six, alongside M42 lenses. Not every East German camera uses M42; the exact model name helps identify the system.

Lenses and mounts

For lenses, the full markings and mount are important. M42 is a mount type, not a brand.

Please photograph the full lens markings and the rear mount. Canon FD, EF and RF, Nikon F and Z, and Minolta SR, Sony A and Sony E are different mounts. Compatibility depends on the exact lens and camera version.

Cine equipment and 16 mm cameras

We assess cine equipment with the components it actually includes. Show magazines, power supplies, lenses and any service records.

What about other optics and larger collections?

You can also offer larger quantities of microscopes, binoculars, telescopes and system accessories. Individual instruments are generally of interest when they’re part of a wider collection.

Can’t see your brand, or have a mixed collection?

Send us photos anyway. We’ll use them and the information you provide to decide whether we can buy your equipment.
